Meet Our Staff

Holly Bell
Office Manager

A lifelong resident of the Pee Dee, Holly has been employed by Palmetto P & O since April 2005. Starting as receptionist, she worked her way through each department and now holds the position of Office Manager. Holly is committed to providing a competent, friendly staff to assist patients with their prosthetic and orthotic needs. From submitting claims to insurance companies as well as Medicare and Medicaid to financial consultation, Holly will assit you with any problems you might encounter. Holly also works in the Dillon Office on Monday and Friday afternoon’s, and handles all aspects of the business along side Andy Krawiec, CPO; clinician at that office. Bonnie Spires
Accounts Payable

Bonnie along with her husband and 4 children are residents of Florence County. As a Sunday school teacher and youth girl's ministry coordinator, she is very active in her local church. Bonnie has been with our company since January 2010. She handles accounts payables and medical records. If you have any questions regarding these areas, Bonnie will be glad to help.

Casey Watford
Accounts Receivable

Casey Watford, along with her husband and 2 children are residents of the Pee Dee area. Casey has been with Palmetto P & O since 2005. She is currently in Nursing school and plays an active role in her local church. Casey handles account receivables, and aging claims.

Jennifer Dillon

Jennifer Dillon along with her husband and 2 children live in the Pee Dee area. She is the pianist in her local church and is active in the community. Jennifer has been with Palmetto P & O for 5 years. Her role includes patient check-out, medical records and Billing.

Leslie Bethea

A resident of Latta, South Carolina, Leslie has been with Palmetto Prosthetics and Orthotics, Inc., since March 2008. Leslie keeps things running smooth at the front desk. Monday, Thursday and Friday she works in the Florence Office. On Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday Leslie is in the Hartsville Office where she works with John Moyd.

John Moyd
Owner, CPO

John is a Hartsville Native. He has a degree in Psychology from Wofford College and received his prosthetic and orthotic education at Northwestern University in Chicago. He completed residencies at UVA in Charlottesville and Newington Children’s Hospital in Connecticut (now part of Hartford Hospital.) He also taught at UConn. John, his wife and 3 children love vacationing in Litchfield, SC. John enjoys bow-hunting and saltwater fishing. His life’s safaris have included everything from big-game hunting in South Africa to chasing his 3 children through a castle in DisneyWorld. John can answer questions about prosthetic comfort and clinical care, as well as componetry selection.

Andy Krawiec

Originally from Cheshire, Connecticut Andy received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut, where he studied Biomechanics. Post-graduate studies were at Newington. Andy’s thesis paper was a study on the biomechanical impact on women by high heel shoes. Andy is a golfer and a sports-oriented player. He brings concern, efficiency and education to table. He is also well versed in physician and community relations and likes to discuss in detail your rehab strategies with you.

Chad Welch
Amputee Consultant

Chad started out as a patient of Palmetto P&O after a MVA in June 2005 left him with a Below Knee amputation. Chad was so intrigued by the prosthetic field that he decided that he would like to work for us. He has been employed with PPO since Nov 2006. Chad works as an amputee consultant for newly amputated patients as well as existing prosthetic patients. He enjoys seeing the progression from initial surgery to being able to walk again. Chad will talk with you about what he has been through and reassure you that you can return to a normal lifestyle. When Chad is not consulting, he is fabricating prosthetic and orthotic devices.

Malcus Beard

Malcus Beard is American Board Certified, and has been with Palmetto P&O for 6 years, he specializes in Diabetic Shoes and Foot Orthotics.

Steve Gilreath

Originally from Shelby, NC. Steve became interested in working in the orthotic and prosthetic fields by his orthotist. Steve is also an orthotic patient, having a disorder called Charcot Marie Tooth disease. He has worn AFO’s since he was 8 years old. Steve has been in the field for 18 years with extensive studies in orthotics and prosthetics. He was first employed by COAL clinics in Charlotte, NC where he was department head of prosthetics. He was there for 4 years. Then Steve broadened his studies and went to work for an innovative company in Asheville, NC where he worked and continued his education for 5 years. Steve his wife Kathy and Daughter Tiffaney live in Florence, SC, where his daughter is in her first year at FMU. Steve has been a Certified Fitter of Orthotics for 5 years with 18 years of technical experience. He has been working for Palmetto P&O for 10 years. He is an avid golfer, loves fishing and riding his motorcycle. Steve works hand in hand with orthotist on staff as well as local therapist. He specializes in the field of Orthotics and can answer any question the patient may have about their orthotic care.

Wylie Greene
Pediatric Wheelchair Specialist

Wylie has been with Palmetto Prosthetics and Orthotics for 14 years. He and his wife live in the Pee Dee Area.  Wylie is a Pediatric Wheelchair Specialist, DME Product Specialist, and Purchasing and Receiving.

Connie Galliher
Certified Mastectomy Fitter

A lifelong resident of the Mechanicsville community in Darlington, Connie retired from DHEC in 2001 where she worked with special healthcare needs children. Connie is a certified Mastectomy fitter and has been trained as a fitter in Juzo Compression Garments. Connie enjoy's working with Breast Cancer survivors.

Juan Vidales
Fabrication of Prosthetic and Orthotic Devices

Juan originates from Zacatecas, Mexico. He has been a resident of the US for 19 years where he, his wife and 2 children reside. Juan has been employed by Palmetto P&O for 7 years. His specialty is fabrication of prosthetic and orthotic devices. Juan can help you as a Spanish interpreter as he speaks fluent Spanish and English language.
